Mark Helms Marine is family owned & operated for over 30 years, alongside a lifetime of experience on, around & under the water. Not to mention many successful years competing in offshore powerboat racing. A true boating family in every sense. If its an outboard issue, chances are we have seen it & can sort it.

In The Beginning...

Mark spent many years working firstly as a technician & then as Service Manager at boating yards before creating Mark Helms Marine for Mobile Servicing & Repairs in 1992. Since then Mark Helms Marine has built a large following of loyal customers and a great reputation for honesty & integrity.

We have a proud history of excellent work and customer service with Mark's son Mike joining in 2019. Mike has a long history as a successful Vehicle Aftersales Manager as well as a huge passion for boating & Offshore Powerboat Racing, being a multi NZ Champion & International racer, loving nothing more than getting out on the ocean.
